Was not expecting something like that...and this is on daytime? Woah.

Fritz got all teary-eyed when I showed this to him. OK, he gets teary-eyed when he reads the yellow pages, but still . . .

A very nicely written and played sequence.

Cool but why the jump cut to the after part and the immediate shower? In the many soap operas I've watched I've never seen similar hetero scenes handled that way.

If they're going this far to the "edge" of daytime why not just cross the line and push it further, you know?

J C-S, I know! Was it the most obviously wierd part of the whole sequence, what was NOT part of the sequence. Next time they should hire Gregg Araki to advise them..

I hope Laura Bush watches ATWT.

I can imagine that they made the scene in the bedroom but finally opted not to include it on the final tape. If they hadn't written that scene, I don't think they would have made such a jarring transition but would have managed something smoother.

OK, I would have loved to see it, too--particularly with THOSE two--but it's the thin end of the wedge and and will grease the way, so to speak, for more to come.

Good points, Will. You can practically visualize the cleaver (Guillotine?) chopping the sequence out. I can also visualize the suits getting anxious in the editing room.
